This article describes how to forward your incoming calls on the "Avaya" IP phone models to another BU internal extension, such as the voicemail system, .
NOTE: Currently, there is no option allowing BU phones to forward to external (ie non-BU) numbers, you can only forward all incoming calls to another internal extension or the voicemail number. Ask us for alternative ways to receive calls off site.
- In the Phone display screen, press the button beside where it says "Call Fwd".
- (if you don't see this Feature listed on your home display, you can try scrolling down in your list using the directional wheel, or add it to your list through the Phone key customization settings.)
- Enter the extension you wish to forward your calls to. (eg 400 for voicemail)
- The red light on the "Call Fwd" button should change to green, and an icon at the top of the screen should appear, to indicate your call is being forwarded.
To turn off Call Forwarding, simply press the "Call Fwd" button again. The light will change from green to red, and your calls will no longer be forwarded.
