For BU Students, here is some helpful first-time info on the BU Moodle System




  • When Logging in to Moodle, please be sure to use your BU Username and Password (your BU email address will not work)  Further details on your BU login info can be found here: BU Students - Login Issues  


  • The main web browser supported for BU Moodle access is Mozilla Firefox.  Other browsers on desktop and mobile devices may work as well (Apple Safari, Google Chrome, MS Edge), but be advised there can be issues in viewing certain content such as instructors feedback notes. If there are any technical issues in viewing, please try the same process under the Mozilla Firefox browser.



  • To enrol in a Moodle course, you will require a course enrolment Key, this will typically be relayed to you by your instructors through one of several means.  If you are unable to enrol in a course, please contact your instructor first to verify you are accessing the correct course and correct enrolment key. If you are able to access other courses in Moodle correctly, please advise your instructor to contact the Moodle Site Administrator if they are unable to determine why you are unable to gain entry into the online course they manage.
