There is a unique BU email access issue, If all the following conditions are true: 


  • You are a BU Staff or specialized account holder, with your email on the "Exchange" platform 
  • You have your BU email set up on a Mac desktop/laptop, within the Microsoft Outlook desktop application
  • The Outlook Desktop Client has "New Outlook" enabled.


If all the conditions apply, your BU mail account settings will disappear from the Outlook app.  This is due to a limitation of the "New Outlook" for Mac not supporting Exchange Server accounts.



To re-gain access to your BU email in your Mac, you will need to switch the app back to what is called "Legacy Outlook". Please note the steps below.
