The BU_Secure wireless network is intended for use by Brandon University Students, Faculty, and Staff. If you are not any of those, please use any of the other available wireless networks.

To connect to BU_Secure:

1. Locate the BU_Secure Network:
   - Ensure your device's Wi-Fi is enabled.
- From the list of available wireless networks, find and select "BU_Secure"

2. Enter Credentials:
- Once selected, you will be prompted to enter your BU Username and Password.
- If your email address is ABC@BrandonU.CA, your username would be "ABC".

3. Accept Certificate:
   - You may receive a prompt to accept a certificate. This is necessary for encryption purposes.
- It's crucial to Accept/Trust the certificate to ensure a secure connection. Failure to do so will prevent authentication to the network.

4. Connection Establishment:
   - After entering your credentials and accepting the certificate, you will be connected to the BU_Secure network.

5. Automatic Connection:
   - Once connected, your device will remember these credentials, and you will automatically join the BU_Secure network whenever you are on campus.

Certain Android devices may give different prompts during connection. For details on how to connect on Android, Click --> Here

Note:- When you change your password you will not able to connect to the BU_Secure network. You will be required to re-login. Once you have cleared the network settings (following the steps below) you can reconnect (using the steps above).

If you are having issues with any of these steps please visit or contact the BU HelpDesk located on the main floor of the John E. Robbins Library, email at [email protected], or call 204-571-8500.
