If you see a warning opening your Microsoft 365 Office Apps such as Word, Excel, Outlook that looks like this:
“PRODUCT DEACTIVATED – On <Date>, most features of Word (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) will be disabled.”
Troubleshooting:
- Sign out of the App and then sign in again.
 - 
If still having an issue then Licensing for your account may have changed.

**This should only affect personal/home devices. Any BU-owned devices should be fine.** 
Use your BU owned device or use the Online version of the 365 App.
To use the online 365 Applications:.
- Sign in at https://portal.brandonu.ca/ with your B.U email address.
 - Upload any files stored locally on your computer to OneDrive for easy access online.
 - Access email through Outlook on the web.

To check your license type:
- Sign in to https://portal.brandonu.ca/.
 - Click your profile (top-right corner) → View Account.
 - Navigate to Subscriptions to see your license details.
